Description
Christopher Macsisak (American, 20th/21st Century). This large-scale abstract mixed media work on paper, titled North Suite #11 and dated 2001, features a fluid, multi-tonal grey wash background. The composition is layered with bold, gestural marks in black charcoal or ink, a prominent blue loop, and structured with thin red framing lines and purple highlights. The piece is hand-signed in the lower-left corner and again on the reverse of the mounting. An original artist invoice is also attached to the backing. The work is housed in a white mat and a thin, metallic-finished frame behind glass. Sight size: 28 x 41 inches. Frame size: 36.25 x 49.25 inches.
