Description
A pair of twin-light swinging arm wall sconces crafted in the Art Nouveau style. Each sconce is made of cast brass or bronze metal and features a central wall-mounting backplate with a stylized openwork design consisting of organic whiplash curves at the top and parallel vertical bars ending in circular terminals at the base. Two hinged, adjustable arms extend from each backplate, terminating in candle cups with integrated drip pans and decorative beaded rims. These are non-electric candle holders designed for traditional taper candles. 8″ H x 6″ W x 9.5″ D.

Condition report:
The sconces are in good antique condition with signs of age and use. They exhibit an uncleaned surface patina with a thick layer of dust. Areas of green verdigris oxidation are visible on the backplates and the undersides of the drip pans. The swinging arm mechanisms remain functional.
