Description
Thomas Stanley Barber (British, d. 1899). Pair of oil on canvas landscapes. Each signed T.S. Barber in the lower corner. Paper labels on verso. 11 1/2″ x 9 1/2″ sight size, 15 1/4″ x 13 1/4″ with frames.
Condition report:
Both canvases show pronounced craquelure and surface cracking, primarily in the upper registers. The frames exhibit scattered cracking, small losses to the decorative composition elements, and general wear and thinning to the gilt finish.
