Description
This oil on canvas landscape painting depicts an atmospheric river scene under a hazy, clouded sky. A prominent mountain peak dominates the background, framed by rolling green hills. Condition report:
Widespread fine craquelure is present across the entire paint surface, particularly noticeable in the lighter passages of the sky. There is accumulated surface dirt and yellowing of the varnish layer. The frame shows minor surface wear and a visible chip with loss to the gilding on the bottom edge.
