Condition report:
The painting surface exhibits heavy impasto with scattered dark scuff marks and surface abrasions, primarily in the upper central sky and tree area. The fabric-wrapped matting shows severe water damage and dark staining across the surface, particularly along the bottom edge and corners. The metal frame shows minor surface wear and oxidation consistent with age. The verso shows an aged, yellowed canvas and a standard wooden stretcher with light wear.
