Description
A floor-standing cast iron plant stand featuring a three-tier tripod design. The frame is supported by three scrolling legs that terminate in rounded knobbed feet. The upper supports are decorated with stylized lion head motifs which extend to support a circular top ring intended for a planter. The middle tier consists of a circular shelf with an openwork starburst and floral lattice pattern, while the base tier features a small decorative basin-shaped shelf. 38″ H x 21″ diameter.
Condition report:
Good overall condition with minor scuffs and small chips to the finish throughout, particularly on the edges of the scrolling elements and the base. The casting displays typical surface irregularities consistent with manufacturing. All bolted and screwed connections are secure and the stand is stable.
