Description
This oil on stretched canvas landscape depicts a rural scene featuring a wooden footbridge over a stream with white ducks. The painting is rendered in a realistic style with blended brushwork in the distance and more textured application in the foreground. The work is presented in a wide, multi-tiered gilt wood frame. A faint painted signature is present in the lower right corner. Sight: 23 1/2 x 31 5/8 in. Frame: 30 x 38 in.

Condition report:
There is a small rectangular patch of paint loss on the lower-left grassy bank exposing the canvas support. Light surface dirt and several small brown stains are visible in the upper portion of the sky. The frame has minor surface wear and small nicks to the gilt finish.
