Description
A set of four original drawings by Anastasia Alexandrin (American, contemporary). Each work is executed in graphite and colored pencil on textured wove paper. The set comprises four related urban street scenes titled Cityscape 1 (street with planters in center), Cityscape 2 (street with divider in center), Cityscape 3 (street lights and cars), and Cityscape 4 (tall buildings and cars). The subjects are rendered in a stylized manner with dense, layered cross-hatching and subtle colored pencil accents highlighting elements such as green foliage and red vehicular lights. Each work is signed lower right: ALEXANDRIN. The verso of each frame retains a printed artist label from Anastasia Alexandrin Fine Art in Allentown, Pennsylvania, providing the title and medium.
