Peter Benchley (American, 1940-2006). Italian mass-market paperback edition of the novel Jaws titled Lo Squalo. Published by Oscar Mondadori as part of the Best Sellers series, the volume features pictorial wraps with a color photograph of a great white shark by Rosemary Chasteney. The book is constructed with a glued paperback binding and standard paper stock. The copyright page indicates the work was originally published in 1974, with this specific volume identified as the 12th printing dated 1997. 7 3/4" H x 5" W x 3/4" D.

Condition report:
The pictorial softcovers exhibit light shelf wear and rubbing. There is visible curling at the corners and along the fore-edge of the front cover. The spine is slightly cocked. Natural age-toning is present on the internal paper stock and page edges. A small area of pinkish staining or rubbing is visible on the back cover near the left edge.
