Description
A group of 11 production prints and photographs from the 1975 Universal Pictures film Jaws. Accompanied by a handwritten provenance note indicating these materials were sent from Universal to the office of Peter Benchley. The collection includes color and black-and-white prints featuring key cinematic moments, including the opening attack on Chrissie Watkins, the Alex Kintner beach sequence, and the climactic struggle aboard the Orca. Several images provide detailed views of the animatronic shark, known as Bruce, and the principal cast including Roy Scheider as Chief Brody and Robert Shaw as Quint. The prints vary in finish, with some showing a high-gloss surface while others appear on standard photographic paper. Largest: 11″ H x 14″ W.

Condition report:
The prints exhibit varying degrees of age-related wear. Several color images show significant cyan and yellow color shifting consistent with older photographic emulsions. Minor corner wear, edge curling, and small surface indentations are visible across several prints. A few examples show distinct yellowing at the edges. The black-and-white print and the high-contrast color stills appear to have more stable color balance.
