International Film & Television Festival of New York commemorative award medal awarded to Peter Benchley, 1980. Diameter: 2 3/4″. Thickness: 1/4″.
From the personal collection of Peter Benchley (American, 1940–2006), acclaimed author of Jaws, accomplished diver, and prominent advocate for ocean and shark conservation.
Condition report:
The medal is in good vintage condition. There are visible areas of green oxidation and surface tarnish along the bottom edge of the obverse. The reverse shows minor surface scratches and light wear consistent with age and handling.
