The image captures the film three primary cast members – Robert Shaw, Richard Dreyfuss, and Roy Scheider – during an action sequence on the deck of the boat Orca. Shaw is visible at the upper helm station, while Dreyfuss and a shouting Scheider are positioned at the rail in the foreground. Frame: 14 3/8" H x 11 1/2" W x 1/2" D.
From the personal collection of Peter Benchley (American, 1940–2006), acclaimed author of Jaws, accomplished diver, and prominent advocate for ocean and shark conservation.
Condition report:
The photographic print exhibits a significant color shift toward magenta and yellow tones, which is a common aging characteristic of color film chemistry from the mid-1970s. The paper appears physically intact with no visible tears, creases, or foxing. The frame shows minor surface wear and light scuffing to the edges and corners. No other visible faults.
