Description
Two color production photographs featuring cast members from The Deep (Columbia, 1977). The portrait-oriented photograph depicts Peter Benchley working alongside the cast and crew. The landscape-oriented photograph is a close-up portrait of Jacqueline Bisset depicting the character Gail Berke. Largest frame: 9 7/8 x 12 3/8 x 3/4 in.
From the personal collection of Peter Benchley (American, 1940–2006), acclaimed author of Jaws, accomplished diver, and prominent advocate for ocean and shark conservation.
Condition report:
Minor aging with slight color shifting toward red and cyan throughout (photo 1). There is a small vertical mark or piece of debris visible near the top center edge of the Ali MacGraw photograph (photo 6). Both frames show light surface scuffing and minor wear to the chrome finish (photo 7).
