Atlantis promotional fold-out press brochure for the television series Peter Benchley’s Amazon. The piece is constructed from printed cardstock with die-cut elements. The front cover displays a close-up photographic image of a crocodile with a die-cut open mouth that reveals the text "From the creator of JAWS." 9" H x 12" W (closed). 9" H x 26" W (open).
From the personal collection of Peter Benchley (American, 1940–2006), acclaimed author of Jaws, accomplished diver, and prominent advocate for ocean and shark conservation.
Proceeds from the Peter Benchley Collection will benefit five ocean conservation organizations: Peter Benchley Ocean Awards, WildAid, Beneath the Waves, Blue Frontier and Environmental Defense Fund.
Condition report:
The brochure displays light shelf wear and minor creasing along the vertical fold lines. There are small stress marks and minute instances of edge wear along the bottom margins of the cardstock panels. The die-cut edges remain crisp and intact.
