The piece is housed in a silver-finished wooden frame under a navy blue double mat with conservation-grade glass. The verso bears a typed transcription label, a black and gold adhesive label for Island Art Center, and a silver and blue adhesive label for TruGuard UV Protection. Signed Cary Grant on the lower edge of the note. Frame: 10 1/2 x 13 3/4 in.
Condition report:
The assembly is in excellent condition. The handwritten note shows light, even toning consistent with age but remains clear and legible. The photograph retains sharp detail and a full tonal range. The silver-finished frame and navy blue matting show no visible wear or damage. The backing paper is intact.
