Description
Mickey Mantle (American, 1931-1995). Signed paper ticket stub, 1953 World Series Game 2, 1953 with COA. The stub was issued for the October 1, 1953 matchup between the New York Yankees and the Brooklyn Dodgers at Yankee Stadium. Printed in red and blue ink, the ticket displays the Yankees top hat logo and seating details for the Lower Stand, Section 25, Row 1, Seat 12 at a price of $7.00. The item is secured within a clear acrylic display case held together by four brass corner screws. Signed Mickey Mantle in blue ink across the center with handwritten inscriptions reading 18 W.S. and #2 H.R.s. 5 3/4" x 3 1/2".

Condition report:
The ticket stub displays significant toning and light creasing consistent with age. A rough perforated edge is present on the left side from its original detachment. The blue ink signature and black ink inscriptions remain bold and legible. The clear acrylic case shows minor surface scuffs and scratches.
