Description
Assortment of seven decorative table items including a Chinoiserie style porcelain and metal lamp, various art glass vessels, a silver-plated hand mirror, and a Tiffany and Co. presentation box. The lamp features two hand-painted porcelain figures in traditional robes standing on a green-painted scrolled wooden platform, mounted to a rectangular metal base embossed with an Asian landscape scene. The rectangular pleated silk shade has a damask pagoda pattern with multi-colored braid trim. Glassware includes a red cut-to-clear footed tumbler with etched grapevine motifs, a small clear glass bowl with polychrome enamel floral decoration, a blue satin glass decanter with a diamond-quilted mold and frosted clear glass handle and stopper, and a small iridescent gold glass dish with twin handles. The silver-plated hand mirror is embossed on the verso with a tavern scene. The interior lid of the green presentation box bears gold lettering Tiffany and Co. New York. Lamp: 22″ H x 12″ W x 7 1/2″ D.
Condition report:
The porcelain figures and glassware are in good overall condition with no visible chips or cracks. The lamp shows visible wear and paint loss to the green-painted wooden supports and minor fraying to the shade trim. The silver-plated mirror exhibits moderate surface oxidation and tarnish. The Tiffany and Co. box shows significant surface peeling and deterioration to the green leather exterior.
