Description
Amelia Sprague (American, 1870-1951). Rookwood Pottery earthenware ewer, dated 1894. Marked on the underside with an impressed 8-flame logo, the shape number 481, the letter W, and an incised AS artist monogram. 9 1/2" H.

Condition report:
Prominent crazing is present within the orange glaze at the rim and upper neck. The remainder of the vessel shows fine age-related crazing consistent with material and age. No chips, cracks, or repairs are visible.
