Condition report:
The pistol is in fair antique condition. The steel components, including the barrel and lock, show a dark, aged patina with areas of surface oxidation and moderate pitting, particularly around the muzzle and the percussion bolster. The brass furniture has a dull, natural patina with scattered small dings. The walnut stock remains solid but exhibits a visible hairline crack extending from the rear lock plate screw on the left side, along with typical minor abrasions and surface wear consistent with age. The percussion action appears to function correctly, though it has not been live-fired. The smoothbore is dark with light pitting throughout.
