Attributed to Charles Landseer (British, 1799-1879) or Edwin Henry Landseer (British, 1802-1873). Oil on wood panel, portrait of a girl. Unsigned, Landseer R.A. in pencil on stretcher, titled illegibly and “by Landseer” on paper label on verso. 11″ x 8″ (with frame 22 3/8″ x 19 1/4″). Crazing throughout, some inpainting on one arm, repair below shoulder, varnished; chips and losses to gilt frame.
