Description
Group of seven vintage Japanese and Chinese novelty toys. Includes two Ichiko (Japan) tin litho friction-powered Boeing 747 Jumbo Jets decorated in Japan Airlines (JAL) livery. Includes a Schylling polished aluminum Graf Zeppelin airship and a tin litho Whirly Bird helicopter. Also includes three Chinese toys featuring a clockwork medical rescue helicopter with a flexible monorail system, a colorful PE 857 Tramway Humoristique trolley, and a Single Bar Exercise toy featuring a plastic gymnast with its original bilingual Chinese and English instruction sheet. Largest 12" x 12".
Condition: The toys appear well-preserved with bright lithography and clean surfaces. The friction and clockwork mechanisms are untested but appear mechanically sound and complete with original parts. The original boxes are present for all items and show only minor shelf wear, including light edge scuffing and occasional creasing consistent with age.
