Description
This Haviland and Co. Limoges porcelain lidded chocolate pot features a tall, slender form with a relief-molded spiral twisted body. The exterior is decorated with hand-painted floral sprays resembling honeysuckle in pink and lavender tones with green foliage, highlighted by raised gold accents. A heavy scalloped gilt border finishes the rim and spout, while the twig-form handle and floral-shaped finial are also detailed with gilding. The underside of the base displays green underglaze factory marks reading Depose and H and Co Limoges. The item includes its original fitted lid. 10″ H x 8″ W x 4″ D.

Condition report:
The item is in excellent antique condition with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. Minor wear to the gilding is present on the high points of the handle and the scalloped rim, consistent with age and typical handling. The unglazed foot ring shows minor surface soiling.
