Description
After Utagawa Hiroshige (Japanese, 1797–1858). Pair of prints, mid-century reproductions, likely woodblock or offset lithographs. Scenes from the series One Hundred Famous Views of Edo (Meisho Edo Hyakkei), specifically Maple Trees at Mama, the Tekona Shrine and Tsugahashi Bridge and The Plum Garden at Kamata. 11 1/2" x 8 1/2" sight size, 18" x 14" with frame.

Condition report:
The glass on the Maple Trees print exhibits significant adhesive residue and scratching. Both red mats have adhesive paper labels or remnants attached to the top edge. The prints appear well-preserved under glass with no visible foxing, significant toning, or fading.
