Andy Warhol (American, 1928–1987). Offset lithograph reproduction poster, Gold Marilyn Monroe, 2007. The print features a centered portrait of Marilyn Monroe with purple skin, yellow hair, and turquoise eyeshadow, set against a vast field of ochre-gold. This large-format exhibition poster was published by The Museum of Modern Art, New York. The lower white margin contains printed text identifying the artist, the original 1962 work details, and the Museum of Modern Art collection. The piece is printed on medium-weight white paper stock. Condition report:
Significant tearing and fraying along the outer margins, most notable at the lower left and right corners. Handling creases and generalized surface rippling are present across the sheet. Unframed.
