Tony Walton (British, 1934-2022) and Doug Johnson (20th century). Guys and Dolls. Group of 2 posters and 2 art prints. Guys and Dolls commemorative opening window card, designed by Doug Johnson, numbered 403/450, Broadway, 1992; with an additional poster for the later regional production at the Paper Mill, New Jersey, 2004. 2 Broadway / Runyonland art prints, after Tony Walton’s original set design artwork, initialed TW and dated ’92 in the plate, numbered in pencil lower left 127 and 128 from the edition of 200. Window card 22" x 14", prints each 20 1/2" x 25 3/4". Posters both with bumped corners, some wear; prints with creases to corners, some discoloration to margins, one with minor tears along lower edge. Tony Walton did the set design for the 1992 Broadway production of Guys and Dolls, Martin Beck Theatre, 1992-1995. He won both the 1992 Drama Desk award for Outstanding Set Design and the Tony for Best Scenic Design for his work on the show.
