Tony Walton (British, 1934-2022). Guys and Dolls. Group of artwork, including prints, posters and 2 original set design pieces. 3 scenic design prints with Tony Walton’s notations in the margins in gold ink, with 21 additional prints and 3 color production photos, largest print with notations 18" x 21 1/4" not including mount. 2 original pieces of artwork, both acrylic and gold ink on illustration board, Havana Fountain and Logo for Arvide’s Drum Skins, Fountain 12" x 12". With a set of 4 prints of William Ivey Long’s costume sketches, an additional 4 color copies of costume designs, 3 window cards for the Paper Mill Playhouse production, tour window card, Martin Beck Theatre window card. All as is and in production used condition. Created by Tony Walton for the Broadway production of Guys and Dolls, Martin Beck Theatre, 1992-1995. Tony Walton won a Tony Award for Scenic Design for the production in 1992, Long won a Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Costume Design the same year.
