Tony Walton (British, 1934-2022). A Tale of Two Cities. 2 large format backdrop prints on vinyl. Both marked in marker "T2C" / "To2C" London, 44 1/2" x 81 1/2"; and Finale Drop, 34 1/2" x 67 1/2". Both as is and in production used condition. Created by Tony Walton for the Broadway production of A Tale of Two Cities, Al Hirschfeld Theatre, 2008. Although Tony Walton did continue designing for off-Broadway, regional and ballet productions, A Tale of Two Cities was the last Broadway show he worked on as a designer.
