Description
Large Rococo Revival giltwood wall mirror. 56 1/4″ H x 33 1/2″ W.
Condition report:
There are visible cracks and stable separations in the composition throughout the frame, particularly at the mitered corners and high-relief scrolled areas. Small losses to the gilding and composition are present, exposing the white gesso substrate. The gilt finish has a developed patina with areas of darkening and rubbing.
