Description
Group of five West African ethnographic objects including four masks or headdresses and one standing figure. Attributed to Mali, Cameroon, and Cote d’Ivoire. Several decorated with natural fibers, glass beads, and cowrie shells. Largest figure 20″ H x 6 1/2″ W x 6″ D.
Condition report:
Significant vertical structural cracks are visible on the face of the large Senufo mask and the side of the Fan mask with white pigment. The surfaces show generalized scuffing, pigment loss, and dust accumulation.
