Description
Single-shot percussion muzzleloader designed as a cane gun or walking stick rifle. Tapered steel barrel with a brass tip and metal receiver decorated with engraved scrollwork. Handle constructed from hardwood and accompanied by a detachable wooden shoulder stock. 49″ L.
Condition report:
Metal surfaces exhibit a dark grey patina with scattered light surface oxidation and minor peppering. Hardwood handle and stock show a patina with various scratches, small dings, and handling marks consistent with age. Leather cheek pad is heavily aged with significant cracking and surface desiccation. Percussion hammer and nipple are present and intact, though the mechanical function has not been tested.
