Description

Antique bamboo system cane gun with L-shaped handle. A knurled brass collar is positioned between the handle and the shaft, featuring a blank shield-shaped reserve. The mechanism includes an integrated metal trigger lever on the underside of the grip. The internal barrel is visible when the ferrule on the tip is removed. 32 1/2″ L.


Condition report:

Significant wear and loss to the black finish on the grip. A longitudinal crack is present in the bamboo shaft segment immediately adjacent to the brass collar. Metalwork displays age-appropriate patina, surface oxidation, and light pitting throughout the receiver and trigger assembly.
