Description
This Japanese color woodblock print (ukiyo-e) is by the artist Ochiai Yoshiku (1833–1904). The composition depicts two women processing green leaves, likely tea, in an outdoor setting featuring a stream and pine trees. The background includes hanging scrolls; one depicts a Shinto or Buddhist deity identified as Kasa Daimyojin, and two others show horses in motion. The print is signed in the lower left within a vertical cartouche reading Ochiai Yoshiku hitsu (落合芳幾筆) accompanied by a red artist seal. To the right of the signature is the square publisher mark for Tsujioka Bunsuke (Tsujibun) and a circular censor seal. A red title cartouche in the upper right appears to identify the series as Nomi Yashinai (呑やしなひ), followed by the series number 2 in a small circular border. The reverse of the sheet bears a small white sticker with the handwritten notation 2700 over J.

Condition report:
The print is in fair condition with several visible defects. The paper exhibits heavy overall toning and significant foxing throughout. There is a large loss and associated tear at the upper left corner. The edges show minor fraying, small tears, and creasing. Colors have muted with age, and there is visible staining on both the front and back of the sheet.
