Description
Pair of glazed Chinese ceramic elephant garden stools. Decorated with polychrome accents, raised scrollwork, floral motifs, and tassels. Each with a turquoise-glazed flat top with a central medallion. Saddle friezes embellished with the Chinese Double Joy symbol. Each 21 1/2″ H x 9 1/4″ W x 19 1/2″ D.

Condition report:
Scattered surface wear, minor glaze crazing, and firing imperfections such as pitting and glaze skips are present. One elephant shows a possible faint hairline or minor professional repair to the tip of a tusk. Bases show light shelf wear and scuffing.
