Description
Japanese four-panel folding screen with quail and flora. The screen is housed in a simple black lacquered wood frame with metal hardware at the corners and along the top edge. The reverse side is finished with a wood-grain patterned paper and includes a wire for wall mounting. 35 3/4″ H x 72″ L.
Condition report:
There is significant scuffing and paint loss on the black lacquered frame, particularly along the top and bottom edges, revealing the underlying wood. The painted surface appears generally stable with minor age-related wear. The reverse side has an attached hanging wire.
