Description
Chinese Art Deco wool rug with bird and branch motif. Vertical inscription woven into the upper right field 福珍玉雅玩全 (Fu zhen yu ya wan quan), roughly translating to an auspicious phrase. 3′ x 4′ 8″.

Condition report:
The rug exhibits several surface stains, appearing to be paint or plaster splatter, primarily located on the teal border and the lower section of the fuchsia field. The cotton fringe shows significant wear, fraying, and some loss. There is moderate overall pile wear consistent with age, with some thinning visible near the edges.
