Description
A Pairpoint Corporation table lamp featuring an Exeter shape reverse-painted frosted glass shade. The shade is decorated with a continuous landscape scene depicting a pair of peacocks with vibrant plumage amidst a garden of large pink and orange roses. The background includes a classical stone urn on a pedestal, wisteria-type vines, and a soft blue sky with clouds. The shade is signed H. FISHER on the lower exterior rim. The shade rests on a patinated metal tripod-style base with a bronze-tone finish. 22″ H x 18″ shade diameter.
Condition report:
The lamp is in good overall condition consistent with age and use. The painted decoration on the shade remains vibrant. Close-up inspection of the rim reveals minor flea bite chips common to ground glass edges. The metal base shows typical light wear to the patinated finish and minor surface oxidation. Tested and functional.
