Description
A contemporary console table featuring an inset rectangular clear glass top supported by a gilt metal frame. The frame is designed with four slender vertical legs, each accented with a turned collar or knop and terminating in small bulbous feet. The legs are braced by a low X-form stretcher that is joined at the center with a decorative interlocking loop design. The metal frame displays a textured, hand-forged appearance with an applied gilt finish. 32″ H x 49 1/4″ W x 15 1/2″ D.
Condition report:
The table is in good overall condition. The gilt finish is intentionally distressed with dark patination; minor surface wear and small areas of finish loss are present, consistent with age and use. The inset glass top is intact and free of major chips or cracks. The structure is sound.
