Description
This large Waterford cut lead crystal table lamp features a baluster-form body decorated with deep faceted diamond and wedge cuts. It is mounted on a tiered circular crystal base with a gadrooned and ribbed pattern. The assembly includes brass-finished metal hardware and a matching faceted crystal ball finial. The accompanying bell-shaped cream fabric shade features vertical pleats and a decorative smocked lower border accented with small red beads and trim. The electrical system consists of a single socket with a turn-knob switch and a clear plastic power cord. The socket bears a UL listed sticker for a portable table luminaire (No. E 85903). An etched Waterford seahorse maker mark is present on both the crystal base and the finial. Total height: Approximately 28.5 inches. Condition report:
The lamp is in excellent overall condition. The crystal base is clear and free of chips, cracks, or repairs. The faceted crystal finial has one small surface nick or bruise near the etched mark. The brass-finished hardware shows minor surface patina consistent with age. The fabric shade is clean and well-maintained with no visible staining or fraying. Electrical components are in working order.
