Description
This large circular area rug was produced in Thailand for Decorative Carpets, Inc. The rug is constructed with a 100% virgin wool pile using a hand-made loop technique. The contemporary geometric design features a teal central field containing interlocking, overlapping curved bands in cream and red tones. The border is comprised of concentric bands, including a wide outer border with vertical stripes in shades of pink, red, brown, and teal, punctuated by square blocks featuring concentric circle motifs. The outermost edge is finished with a brown band. A manufacturer label on the reverse includes a logo of four interlocking U-shapes and the following printed information: PO#D-39616-A, Decorative Carpets, Inc., Number EX.12/0027 E.56-0053, Pattern Loop, Quality ANH.450, Colors 8 Cols, and Serial No. H.020588. Manufacturer label diameter: 13 feet. This lot is located offsite in Rumson, New Jersey and will be available for PICKUP ONLY. Condition report:
The rug is in very good overall condition with vibrant colors and well-preserved pile. There are no visible stains, tears, or structural repairs. Minor surface pilling and occasional loose fibers are present, consistent with light previous use.
