Description
A large tufted trefoil cocktail ottoman manufactured by Lewis Mittman. The piece is constructed with moss-green velvet upholstery over a padded frame, featuring a distinctive three-lobed cloverleaf form. The top surface is finished with deep diamond tufting and matching velvet-covered buttons. The lower perimeter is detailed with a dual-color twisted cord trim above a thick, multi-colored braided bullion fringe in shades of red, gold, and green. The ottoman rests on white plastic floor glides. A manufacturer’s label is affixed to the black fabric dust cover on the underside, displaying the name Lewis Mittman and the EF/LM (Edward Ferrell + Lewis Mittman) logo. 16 x 39 x 39 inches. Condition report:
The velvet upholstery shows several small dark spots and surface stains on the top. A single small purple ink-like mark is present near one of the central buttons. There is general light pile crush and surface wear consistent with age and use. The decorative braided fringe is intact and the underside dust cover shows minor accumulation of lint.
