Description
A pair of traditional barrel-back or tub-style open armchairs. The frames are constructed of dark-stained hardwood, featuring scrolled arms with upholstered pads and decorative green fringe trim at the terminals. Each chair includes a single loose, welted seat cushion over a plain beige fabric seat deck. The chairs are supported by four tapered and turned legs with ringed collars and canted rear legs. 29″ H x 35.5″ W x 24″ D. Seat height: 19 in.
Condition report:
The wood frames show moderate wear consistent with use, including visible scuffs, scratches, and finish loss on the front of the scrolled arms and along the length of the legs. The upholstery remains clean and generally intact, though light fraying is present on the decorative fringe trim at the armrests. The chairs are structurally sound and include felt floor protector pads attached to the feet.
