Description
This nine-piece collection of sterling silver utensils features a variety of late Victorian and Art Nouveau serving pieces and flatware. The set is highlighted by a large cold meat or serving fork in the Frontenac pattern by Simpson, Hall, Miller and Company, which is stamped with the maker hallmark, STERLING, PAT. 1897, and the jeweler retailer mark DANIEL LOW CO. The set includes five butter spreaders marked J. WISS AND SONS featuring handles with scrollwork decoration. Also present is a large serving or berry spoon with a deep shell-shaped bowl and a floral handle motif, a sugar shell spoon, and a small cold meat fork, both featuring beaded borders. All nine pieces are engraved with a matching script monogram of the letter H. Total weight: 368 grams.

The items are in good antique condition with visible signs of wear consistent with age and domestic use. All pieces exhibit light to heavy tarnish, primarily in the detailed areas of the patterns. Minor surface scratches and faint scuffs are visible. No major dents or structural damage noted.
