Printed in the bottom white margin are credits for National Screen Service Corp and Vanguard Films Inc. Marked on the verso in pencil are the subject name and date October 1939. Janet Leigh (American, 1927-2004). Black-and-white glossy photograph, mid-century promotional pose. Signed Janet Leigh in black felt-tip ink across the lower-left. Mamie Van Doren (American, b. 1931). Black-and-white glossy photograph, glamour pose seated on a trunk. Signed Mamie Van Doren in black felt-tip ink across the center. All three photographs are accompanied by authentication documentation from Todd Mueller Autographs or Colip’s Autographs.
Condition report:
The Bergman photograph displays light corner wear and minor surface handling marks. The Leigh photograph shows minor handling wear. The Van Doren photograph features a small horizontal ink mark in the upper right white border and minor surface handling wear throughout.
