Description
Mary Pickford (American, 1892-1979), Claudette Colbert (American, 1903-1996), Joan Fontaine (American, 1917-2013), Jane Wyman (American, 1917-2007), Patricia Neal (American, 1926-2010), and Eleanor Parker (American, 1922-2013). Assortment of six signed glossy black and white and sepia-tone vintage photographs portraying iconic Hollywood actresses. The Mary Pickford photograph is a sepia-tone still from the film Rosita, marked RAHMN PHOTO in the lower right corner and Mary Pickford IN Rosita in the lower left. The Eleanor Parker photograph is a sepia-tone glossy featuring three hole-punches at the top edge and a typed M-G-M studio publicity blurb for the film Fort Bravo on the verso. Other items include promotional glossy headshots on cardstock.
The photographs are signed and inscribed by the subjects in various purple, black, red, and blue inks. Documentation includes letters of authenticity from Todd Mueller Autographs for the Claudette Colbert, Eleanor Parker, and Jane Wyman items. Certificates of authenticity are present from Todd Mueller Autographs for the Patricia Neal item, La Scala Autographs for the Mary Pickford and Joan Fontaine items, and Hamilton Turner Autographs for the Joan Fontaine item.

Condition report:
Items show typical signs of vintage age including minor surface wear and edge softening. The Mary Pickford signature is significantly faded. The photograph shows wear to all edges including small chips, tears, and bumped corners, with a visible horizontal crease near the bottom edge. The Eleanor Parker photograph features three hole-punches along the top margin. The Claudette Colbert, Patricia Neal, Joan Fontaine, and Jane Wyman photographs remain in generally good vintage condition with bold signatures.
