The manuscript leaf shows significant toning, foxing, and water staining across the surface. There are visible creases, frayed edges, and small losses to the paper, most notably at the bottom left corner of the illuminated headpiece. The surrounding salmon-colored border exhibits similar wear with creasing and minor loss at the edges. The outer off-white mat board displays extensive and prominent brown foxing spots throughout.
