Description
Regency style settee with an oval wooden medallion centered in the caning on both the front and back, featuring hand-painted yellow and white flowers. The frame includes scrolled arms and four tapered, spindle-turned legs with ringed detailing. The loose seat cushion is upholstered in a golden-tan velvet-textured fabric with button tufting and gold fringe trim with tassels at the corners. 35.5″ H x 44″ W x 18″ D. Seat height 18 in.
Condition report:
The settee is in good vintage condition. Visible finish wear is present on the top of the armrests from use. The upholstered seat cushion shows some surface staining and general discoloration consistent with age. The woven caning remains taut and free of breaks or holes. Hand-painted medallions show minor age-appropriate wear but remain clear.
