The rush seats on the banister-back chairs display general wear and fraying but are largely intact. The wood surfaces show widespread scuffs, finish wear, and scratches. Signs of old repairs and structural looseness are present at several stretcher joints. Minor wood loss and wear are visible at the base of the feet.
